This immense soft white sand beach stretches from the foot of Chapman’s Peak out towards Kommetjie. The beach is flanked by the crisp and inviting waters of the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the protected wetlands of the Table Mountain National Park on the other. The beach is popular with walkers, horse riders and surfers. The well known shipwreck of the Kakapo (early 1900’s) is still evident today. A variety of birdlife call this area home whilst Dolphins, Whales and Otters are also common.
